AECP Level 1 Final exam

I am on my final challenge for Level 1 in the Altenew Educators Certification Program (AECP) and I’m excited to take up the challenge and show you what I’ve learned.

Here are the rules for the challenge:

  1. create two sets of cards: a “His” and a “Hers” plus DIY coordinating gift packaging
  2. the cards need to be a cohesive set for various occasions and packaged together as a group
  3. Utilize at least 3 components from the classes in AECP level 1
  4. Use at least one recycled element (in either the cards or the packaging)

AECP Level 1 Techniques I used:

1- let it shine

2- Clean & Simple Boutique Cards

3- Stencil Technique

4- Easy die cutting technique

For these cards, I first chose a color theme that I would use throughout the project. This would give the cards a cohesive look in the end. The colors I chose were pink, yellow, white, and turquoise.

Please check my video where I went through all the cards

Let’s start with “HERS” CARDS

Let it shine: I used glitter paste and gemstones
Clean & simple: Single Layer card

Stencil technique: Used Paste to give extra texture to my card
