A card in a box

Hello everyone. I am so excited about my new Project. I made a Card in a Box. It is a 3D card that folds flat for mailing. Here is my video tutorial showing how to make this card. The cool thing is you can turn it to a stand 3D card on your crafty table!

Steps

  1. I Die-cut the main box from plain paper lost paradise by graphic 45. I applied adhesive to the side tab on the outside of the Box body.

2. I Adhered some die-cuts from the same paper collection to the side panels of the Box body.

3. I then die-cut two of these tabs from the Bigz XL die. These tabs have then adhered to the inside of the card box.  Each end of the tab is bent on the crease line and will face the back of the card.  Your card base is finished, and ready to embellish.

4. To embellished the box, I fussy cut the birds from lost in paradise paper pad then attached them to clear plastic to then adhered everything inside tabs

Tip

*If you decided to mail the card out, do not add birds beyond when the card is folded right.

I hope you got inspired to try making it. Please do not forget to check other designers’ work over graphics 45 blog for more inspiration.!!
