3D Altered canvas

I am so happy to share this project with you. We have been hit by a tornado which causes power off and broken trees and cars. Thank God we are and our neighbors were fine yet some car windows have been broken! the second day I went to our building parking and I started collected some tree branches and I am going to use them in today’s project.

To start the canvas

1- I choose the main picture of the fairy to be the center of my project.

2- I choose 2 other papers that matched in colors, to cover the four edges of the canvas.

3- After placing all my papers in the right place, I used G45 washi tape in gloss gold to adhered them. Definitely, you can use glue to adhere the papers then add the washi tape for an extra touch of texture.

4-  I sprayed the branches with acrylic paint in gold color then adhered them to the top and bottom of the canvas.

6- I stacked several flowers and die-cuts on the branches to create a unique look of depth

— I made a video tutorial for the handmade flower using G45 dies

7- because I always love adding different textures to my projects, I used a stencil with shimmer paste to make some raised patterns.
